I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and I feel the same way I did when I was 3—good ice cream solves most problems. I started shooting with a Polaroid Cool Cam in 1988 and never looked back.
I love capturing real life—creating space with you and the people you love for you to be your truest selves. These are tiny moments that tell big stories—the stuff that really matters, that makes up our days and ultimately our whole histories.
I'm a momma (to a sassafrass of a little boy who has my entire heart), wife to an amazingly patient midwestern gent, a lover of coffee (possibly addicted?), Barre3, running, ponies, Rilke and Rumi, dogs, kindness, and yes, ice cream. Specifically black raspberry.
After many years looking for my own way in the world, I've come to call myself a finder of sorts. Of love, of laughter, of connection, of stories, of moments. I want you to look at the images we capture together and feel like you see yourself, and your love, and your history all at once.
I still believe in the beauty of the tangible too.
I want you to feel that you could fill your walls, and your hands, and maybe a few shoeboxes with those moments. To watch your beloved hold a dog-eared photograph of your special day, and feel your heart filled with the same joy you felt when you said those forever words. To see your children discover another part of themselves in the album of your family, as they flip page after page.
I'm so excited to meet you, to get to know you and your loves, and to be part of finding those moments with you.
