I get asked all the time for mini photo sessions just for headshots – so I’m going to do a whole day of them! Join me on Sunday, February 23rd for the Brand Boss Portrait Pop-Up in a gorgeous natural light studio, and let’s get to it!

These mini photo sessions are perfect for you if you’re looking to update your headshots, and you want photos that are candid, creative, and fun.  Whether you’ll use it online, or the back cover of that book you’re working on, or you’re just ready for a personal brand refresh, headshots can actually be fun! These Brand Boss Portrait Sessions are super special – not only do you get to join me in the studio for a mini photo session at a discounted rate, stylist Amber Papastavros is at the ready for all your hair and makeup dreams as an optional add-on!  Amber is my go-to for onsite hair and makeup magic, and I love working with her. And while Amber is there to help you look and feel your best, the ever-talented on-set stylist and all-around creative wizard Laurie Kovac will be on hand to bring our candid lifestyle vibes to life, in all the ways you want to show them off.

This special pop-up is just one day, and once we book up, Brand Boss pricing returns to the usual rates. Can’t wait to see you in the studio!

The Brand Boss Portrait Pop-Up will be held Sunday, February 23 at The Bananaland in Bridgeport, CT. Session slots are available from 8:30 am to 4 pm, are first-come-first-serve, and accommodate for one person per session time. All fees for session and hair and makeup add-on are due in full at the time of booking.

    PAYMENTS
    Brand Boss Portrait Session purchase is non-refundable, and the fee is due in full to hold your session time. Financial responsibility in the event of a cancellation of services or event is outlined below in the section titled "Cancellation Policy". A W-9 can be provided upon request.

    RESPONSIBILITY OF SALES TAX AND RETURN CHECK FEES
    
Sales Tax will be charged only in the event that Client is in the state of Connecticut, and will be charged at the rate of 1% for services related to digital files, and 6.35% for products only (prints, books, etc) outside the initial package purchase. All purchases for this promotion include sales tax. Any returned checks will incur an additional fee of $50.

    DATE CHANGES 
    These sessions are only available on February 23, 2020, and should Client cancel or need to otherwise forfeit session, no makeup dates will be offered.

    EXPLANATION OF COPYRIGHT AND POLICY FOR SHARING 
    
All images are the protected copyright of Photographer. The client may share all images that have been downloaded as part of final images on any digital platform and in any printed materials, with appropriate credit where possible to Photographer.

    EXPECTATION OF FINAL IMAGE SAFEKEEPING 
    
Photographer will maintain active online gallery/archive of session images for download of purchased images for a year from session date, with the expectation that client will download all purchased images and store them for safekeeping on personally owned devices or cloud-based services. Requests for access to images after that date may be subject to a $250 unarchive fee, however, Photographer cannot guarantee image availability.

    EXPECTATION OF SHOTLIST 
    
The client will deliver any expected shot list for the session as a part of a Photographer supplied questionnaire (completed during scheduling step), prior to the session. Photographer will make every effort to capture every requested image on the provided list, but cannot guarantee a final select from provided shortlist. Any requests not communicated in writing prior to the session will be left off of the official shot list.

    MODEL RELEASE
    
Client hereby grants Photographer to use and publish images and photographs taken at your session to further promote my services. Including, but not limited to: website, display, social media, advertisement, and editorial use.

    LIABILITY ON SITE 
    
Client and associated friends, family, colleagues, and session attendants agree to hold Photographer harmless for any injuries that may occur to any persons in front of the camera during any portion of the session. Photographer can provide a Certificate of Insurance at any time upon request.

    PROTECTION OF EDITS 
    
Client agrees to protect and preserve all edits made to final selected images (even for use on social media), and will under no circumstances submit final imagery to edits by another photography or editing professional without a release from Photographer.

    SOLE PHOTOGRAPHER 
    
Client agrees that there will be no other photographers on-site to capture any portion of the session (before, during, after) on session day unless hired by Kristyn Miller Photography.

    DELIVERABLES
    
Client hereby accepts and acknowledges photographer coverage and deliverables as follows:

    • Single photographer coverage for 20-minute mini portrait session
    • Purchase includes photo session, 15+ hi-res images to keep, delivered via online gallery link within 3 weeks of your session
    • If you've selected a hair and makeup add-on, your purchase also includes 15-20 minutes of hair and makeup styling with Amber Papastavros
    Additional materials beyond what is outlined above, including framed prints, albums, etc, are also available for purchase and can be discussed once final galleries are delivered.

    ARTISTIC STYLE, IMAGE SELECTION, AND RETOUCHING
    
The client is aware of the Photographer's style and portfolio of work and waives any right to refuse payment or request a refund on the basis of dissatisfaction with the end result. Client accepts and acknowledges that the Photographer will make selects from images captured during the session/event, and RAW files will not be available for client review or selection. Photographer's fee includes one round of minor retouching (for flyaway hairs and stains on clothing) on your gallery of final images, after which additional editing charges will apply on an hourly basis ($100/hour) for each request.

    PHOTOGRAPHER CANCELLATION OR NO-SHOW RESPONSIBILITY 
    
Should Photographer need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be offered or a suitable replacement photographer will be provided.

    CANCELLATION POLICY 
    
 Session purchase is non-refundable, and represents a special discounted one-day-only offering - no alternative dates will be offered should the client need to cancel or postpone.

    ACTS OF GOD
    
Any delays in or failures of performance by Photographer under this Agreement shall not be considered a breach of this Agreement if and to the extent caused by occurrences beyond the reasonable control of the party affected, including but not limited to: acts of God; changes in regulations or laws of any government; strikes or other concerted acts of workers; fires; floods; explosions; riots; wars; rebellions; and sabotage; and any time for performance hereunder shall be extended by the actual time of delay caused by such occurrence.

    MY COMMITMENT
    
On behalf of Kristyn Miller Photography, I promise to deliver quality work to the optimum of my ability during the entirety of your session and beyond. I promise I’ll be on time, I’ll be patient with kids, lovers, and families alike, and will generally be an all-around good time, no matter what. I promise to be level-headed, thoughtful, joyful, fun, and resourceful – as will my associates. You’re hiring me because you believe in my work, and I’m working with you because your story is special, and deserves to be captured!
